Cookie policy

What the Platform sets

The Platform only sets cookies that are strictly necessary for login and its security:

• __Host-ep_session (europepacker.com) — login session. It contains an opaque identifier, with no readable personal data, cannot be accessed by browser scripts, is only sent over HTTPS and expires at the end of the session.
• __Host-ep_login (europepacker.com) — protects the login in progress against forgery. It expires after ten minutes.
• Login service cookies (auth.europepacker.com) — set by our identity provider during authentication: authentication session, login protection, language chosen on the login page.

No audience measurement, advertising or personalisation cookie or tracker is set, and no third-party analytics, social network or advertising script is loaded.

Why no consent banner is shown

According to the CNIL guidelines, trackers strictly necessary for authentication or for securing the authentication mechanism are exempt from consent. The cookies above fall exactly within this case: they pursue no other purpose.

If this changes

Should an audience measurement tool or any other tracker that is not strictly necessary be added, a consent mechanism complying with CNIL requirements would be put in place before it is set, and this policy updated.

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking the cookies above, however, prevents you from logging in.
